YoWe (Youth On Wednesday Experience)

Youth...a young adult, a teen, struggling, learning, changing, laughing, dealing with drama, exploring faith, searching for God.

Youth...Someone who doesn't have to do any of it alone...

YoWe is the small group focused midweek youth programs presented by FUMCNacYouth. The small groups at YoWe feature discussions and lessons on current events with in a small group setting with Christ at the center of the discussion. We talk about the daily and weekly struggles that affect every youth's life: school, teachers, parents, friends, and all the pressures that being a teenager in this postmodern world puts on them. We also look to each other and the world outside our group to see how we can make a difference in it. The small groups follow the Grace Group model that is used throughout FUMC Nacogdoches.

Young people coming together to learn from one another, to lean on one another, and to lift one another up.

Each small group leader is trained and Safe Sanctuary certified as well as being prayed for so that the youth can find a trusted friend in faith in looking to their leader.

On Wednesdays the youth room opens at 5pm. YoWe starts at 6pm and ends at 7:30pm.
